Bill Perkins is an American high-stakes tournament poker player, film producer, and hedge fund manager who manages the Houston-based energy hedge fund, Skylar Capital.
He was born on February 2, 1969, in Houston, Texas, USA, as William O. Perkins III.
His father, Bill Perkins, was a football player and politician who served two terms in the New Jersey General Assembly. Bill Perkins graduated from Seton Hall Law School in 1968 and opened his law office in 1970. Perkins passed away on February 5, 2016.
