The youngest of the Ballinger kids was Colleen’s younger sister Rachel, who rounded out their family of six.
Ballinger was raised in Santa Barbara before she moved to the Big Apple in 2010.

A Bumpy Road to Love
The following year she met fellow YouTuber Joshua David Evans.

The pair dated for a couple of years before tying the knot in July 2015.
For the few years they were on our device screens as a couple, fans hailed them as #couplegoals.
By May of the following year, fans were starting to get suspicious.
Colleen was no longer in Evans’s vlogs, and he very rarely appeared in anything on her channel, either.
He responded to the questions in a video, denying that anything was wrong—and putting the absences down to the fact that Colleen was working in Canada.

Life imitated art when the pair began dating the next year, and they got married in 2018.
In December 2018, they welcomed their first child—a son named Flynn Timothy.
Things took a strange turn in 2019 when Evans posted a 12-minute rant on YouTube called The Actual Truth About Everything. In the video—which Evans deleted a few hours later—he explained that he needed to make the video “to survive.”
While no follow-up to the video—in which he’d actually tell his story—eventuated, fans were talking about it for a minute.
By that stage, however, Colleen had remarried and become a mom.
