Starting off with Adrian Holmes, Adrian is an actor from Canada, who is perhaps best known for his work on TV, rather than in movies on the big screen.
Born on March 31st, 1974, Adrian Holmes is best known for his role on Bravo tv’s 19-2. 19-2 is a Canadian police drama series based on the French-Canadian language tv series of the same name.
So popular was Holmes in this series, that in 2017 he won a Canadian Screen Award, which is quite the honor.

Having first gotten into acting in 1991, he has appeared in numerous TV shows and movies. Just some of the credits to his name include — Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Arrow, Smallville, V-Wars, Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome, Vendetta, Skyscraper, Damage, and much more besides.
As well as the above, he also plays the role of Uncle Phil, in Bel-Air — the drama reboot of the popular 90s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
Adrian Holmes is an actor who, even if you haven’t heard of him, you’ve likely seen make an appearance on your favorite TV show or movie, in some way or another.
Who is Taye Diggs?

Born on January 2nd, 1972, Taye Diggs is another hugely successful actor from the USA, who is best known for his work on stage, and in movies.
Taye is an incredible talent and is perhaps best known for his roles in popular Broadway musicals like ‘Rent’ and ‘Hedwig and the Angry Inch.’
As far as TV work goes, he has appeared in hits such as Private Practice, and All American.
Born Scott Leo Berry, Diggs was born into a performing family as his mother was an actress and his father a visual artist.
Taye was born a creative soul, and this is evident more than ever in his work.

He became known as Taye Diggs due to how he pronounced ‘Scotty,’ pronouncing it as ‘Scot-tay.’
The Diggs came from his mother, when she re-married, marrying Jeffries Diggs, with Taye taking his last name.
From a young age, Taye was a fantastic performer. In 1996 he got his big break, appearing in the Broadway musical adaption of ‘Rent.’
He would continue to appear in plays, and as word spread about this remarkable young actor treading the boards on Broadway, more and more people came to see him perform.
It was only a matter of time before he was scouted, and in the later 90s, he swapped the stage for the TV when he landed a role in the soap opera ‘Guiding Light.’

In 1998 he made his movie debut when he featured in ‘How Stella Got Her Groove Back.’
From here, his career progressed more and more, and he began landing more and more leading and supporting roles.
He appeared in movies such as the reboot of ‘The House on Haunted Hill’ and ‘Way of the Gun.’
He also worked with some of the biggest names in all of Hollywood, including James Caan, Benicio Del Toro, Samuel L. Jackson, John Travolta, and many more besides.
As well as movies, his TV work resume is also extensively long, with him appearing in such hits as Ally McBeal, Will and Grace, The West Wing, Grey’s Anatomy, NCIS, Law and Order, All American, and much more besides.
He has won numerous awards, including Screen Actors Guilds Awards, Blockbuster Entertainments Awards, and many more besides.
He has also received all manner of nominations as well.

Is Adrian Holmes related to Taye Diggs?
We’ve looked at Adrian Holmes and Taye Diggs individually, but now we need to look at whether the rumors of them being related are true. So, is Adrian Holmes related to Taye Diggs? Well, the answer to that question is no. Taye Diggs is not related to Adrian Holmes.
If you look at the two actors, you can’t deny that they do share a very striking resemblance to each other.
This is likely where the rumors began, as people have claimed that the two are actually brothers.
Both were born in the early 1970s, they are a similar age too, and they both work in the entertainment industry.
Rest assured, however, that despite being a similar age, and looking alike, the two men are not related.
