Mongraal Net Worth 2024

What is Mongraal’s net worth? Where is Mongraal from?

Introduction

Mongraal is a British eSports gamer who plays Fortnite.

He’s been playing since he was 8 years old, and in 2020, he was the youngest pro Fortnite player in the world.

He’s been interviewed by the UK media giant, the BBC, and ranked the number one UK Fortnite player.

He’s also a super-celebrity on social media, thanks to his alignment with the biggest trend in gaming worldwide.

With 6.6 million Twitch followers, 4.3 million Instagram followers, and 5.1 million YouTube subscribers, who know how high this teen celeb can climb?

The Origin Story

Kyle Jackson was born on August 13, 2004, in Bexley, southeast London.

He grew up around MMORPGs, and his parents set pretty strict rules for him as a kid.

He was allowed to play, as long as his schoolwork didn’t suffer and he helped out around the house.

Jackson stuck to the rules, and—in his own words—he’s “doing very well in pretty much every subject.”

As the youngest competitive Fortnite player of 2018, Kyle had actually begun playing professionally at 9 years old.

Since then, the rules have loosened a bit—his curfew in 2020 was 9:00 pm.

There are still some days when Kyle just isn’t allowed to game at all.

When asked by the media if his school friends resent his career, Kyle was nonplussed. “I guess they are kind of.” Like any teen boy, he knows traveling and being paid to play video games is kind of a dream.

The first game Jackson ever played was Call of Duty World at War, followed closely by Halo, but he’s quick to admit that the game he’s best at is still Fortnite.

Amongst his favorite things, he lists Nobu shrimp.

Starting Young

Jackson played his first competitive first-person shooter tournament when he was 9 years old.

By 11, he was consistently ranking near the top of the leaderboard. At 12, he noticed that he was even out-performing some of the big names in gaming.

He realized he was “probably not too bad,” and told his family he wanted to be a gamer for a living.

Kyle’s parents didn’t mind his “hobby,” as they called it, as long as it didn’t impact his school work and he maintained his grades.

In 2017, at age 13, Jackson officially became the youngest professional eSports player in Fortnite when he finally became eligible to compete in cash tournaments.

The following year, he signed on to join the Team Secret player roster.

The move didn’t last long, and in less than 18 months, he had bailed on Team Secret to become the youngest ever member of FaZe Clan.

FaZe Clan has grown to prominence as one of the most influential gaming organizations in the US.

Created in 2010, the content creator hub and gaming crew have an engaged fan base of almost 340 million followers across their combined social media channels.

FaZe Clan’s roster stretches across gaming, sports, and influencer entertainment. It even includes Bronny—the eldest son of Lebron James.

The organization fields teams who compete in Fortnite, FIFA, PUBG Mobile, Call of Duty, and Rainbow Six.

With FaZe, Jackson has played in 12 tournaments—and his team has won 8 of them.

Although he can’t earn money as a member of the team, he takes a cut of the prize money.

In March 2021, Mongraal appeared to be losing his cool when he came up against an unfortunate competitive ping during a live-stream.

With ping, inputs are sent to the server and back to establish data speed.

In the case of gaming, one player’s ping will be faster than the other’s—and the faster player’s action will trump the slower.

Case in point: Mongraal’s live stream.

He is in a build battle with another player, and then—as he’s completed his wall, he’s shot through it and loses. After an awkward pause, Mongraal bursts into maniacal laughter.

He says repeatedly, “this game is good, this game is good, yeah very good game, very good game,” and continues to laugh.
