What is Kodiyakredd’s net worth?
Kodiyakredd has a net wort hof $1.5 million. Redd_4x made the name jump to Kodiyakredd in 2021, when he and his twin brother achieved viral social media fame with the hit song Island Boy.
The catchy tune—and the thousands of memes and jokes it inspired—rocketed Redd 4x to fame.
But, as it turned out, he’d been involved in the music scene for a whole year before that.
The young Florida entertainer has released singles like Money, Trina, Rain, Island Girls—alongside his twin brother—and Putting my Vest on.
While Redd 4x and his brother seem to have fallen back into obscurity almost as quick as they rose to fame—they’ve both had their share of dramas in the spotlight—there’s no denying that their success was big for a minute.
So here’s what we know about Redd_4x—AKA Redd4x, Redd Foxx, Kodiyakredd, and Franky V.
The Origin Story
Redd_4x—whose real name is Frank “Franky” Venegas—was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, on July 16, 2001.
He is the slightly older brother of Alex Venegas—his twin—who goes by the rap moniker Flyysoulja.
Franky was born 2 minutes before his fraternal twin.
Redd 4x and flyysoulja lost their dad when they were only 6 years old, and the boys’ mother has raised them on her own ever since.
In a 2021 interview, flyysoulja said it was a big deal for them to be able to take care of her now that they are famous.
The pair of Florida natives have been doxxed repeatedly on social media, with former friends sharing online where the pair live in Florida, what their real names are, and even who their parents are.
Redd_4x and his brother were accused of cultural appropriation and “pretending” to be Hispanic.
The Venegas boys took matters into their own hands in 2021, recording a call to their mom and asking her to set the record straight about their roots.
Although clearly taken aback by the question, their mother explained that the boys were born in Florida, but that both she and her late husband are of Cuban descent—and all their ancestors are Spanish and Cuban.
The couple moved from Cuba to the US in the 90s to improve life for their family.
Girlfriend
Redd_4X was in a relationship with Montaisha Shanell until early 2022 when the pair broke up in spectacular fashion.
Videos had circulated for a while that showed Montaisha and Venegas physically assaulting each other.
Shanell then claimed that Redd_4X had beaten her “every day” in a since-removed video on social media.
Kodiyakredd didn’t address the accusations and has since moved on to a new girlfriend, Amina.
The pair have tattooed each other’s names on their bodies and claimed on TikTok that they will be together forever because of that.
Troublesome Teen Years
Both Redd4X and his brother have been open about their shady teen years, with Redd4X claiming that “from 13, 14, 15, 16, 17…I was in and out of jail.”
The twin duo has been arrested, put on house arrest, and sent to juvenile detention centers for a long list of offences, including simple assault-threat to do violence, battery-touch or strike, marijuana possession, aggravated assault with a firearm, and possession of drug equipment.
While the list of charges might look like chump change when compared to OGs of the rap game, it’s still a shocking amount of trouble for a couple of boys who only turned 21 in 2022.
The Island Boys
While the pair were serving time together in juvenile detention, they started working on their rap lyrics.
By this stage, the wayward teens were already sporting face tattoos, Sideshow Bob style dredlocks, and bling in their teeth—all they needed was the rap career to lend them street cred.
Redd4X and his brother finally scored the exposure they were chasing with the song I’m an Island Boy.
The song went viral, scoring the twins more than a million followers on Instagram and TikTok between them.
It became a famous meme, and spawned parodies by comedians like TooTurntTony.
Following the songs success, Redd4X and flyysoulja were offered gigs at clubs in Miami, and invited to appear on fellow social media celebrities’ podcasts.
Neither went well for Redd4X—the twins were boo’ed off stage in Miami, and awkwardly walked out of an interview for the Impaulsive podcast.
A Mixed Reception
While social media beefs are par for the course—and an excellent part of any Gen Z celebrity campaign—it wasn’t feuds with TikTok’s Bryce Hall, Logan Paul, and Jake Paul that got people talking.
At the end of 2021, the pair caught heat from big time celebrities—comedian Kevin Hart and gangster rap icon Snoop Dogg in a clip from the comedy special 2021 and Done, Snoop reacts to the viral I’m an Island Boy clip.
He and Hart then mock the video for a few minutes.
The rap twins released an official music video for their hit track, and were eventually slated to sign with Kodak Black—although that record deal hadn’t eventuated by late 2022.
Kodiyakredd and his brother also accept payment to do shout-outs on Cameo.
In February of 2022, police raided Redd_4x and flyysoulja’s home and arrested their childhood friend in connection to the killing of an 8-year-old girl.
The pair said that if they had known he had done that, they “never would have allowed him on the property.”
