He was born on April 10, 1952, in Lansing, Michigan, as Steven Frederic Seagal.
His dad worked as a mathematics teacher, while his mom worked as a medical technician.
At age 5, Steven and his family moved to Fullerton.
During high school, he worked at Burger King.
