Ever find yourself watching an ad on the TV, seeing an actor, and struggling to put a name to the face?
If so, then chances are you’ve seen the Goldfish crackers ad featuring two extremely tall gentlemen.
Goldfish crackers are extremely popular snacks here in the US and, indeed, in plenty of places around the world as well.
One of the main reasons why they’ve got such a huge fanbase, on top of the fact that they taste so amazing, however, is the fact that they always smash it out of the park in terms of their marketing and advertising.
After some of their latest marketing, however, people often wonder who the unusually tall dudes are in the commercials, which is what we’re going to be looking at in more detail today.
So, who is the tall guy in the Goldfish commercial? Well, let’s take a look, shall we?

Those of you who are familiar with the NBA will already know the answer to this question, but just to be clear with everybody else, the tall guy in the Goldfish commercial is Boban Marjanovic.
Now, to be pedantic, the commercial actually features two tall guys, as the commercial features Boban Marjanovic and Tobias Harris, who have affectionately been dubbed as Tobi-Bobi.
Tobias Harris currently plays for the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA, whereas Boban Marjanovic plays for the Houston Rockets in the NBA.
Once upon a time, however, the two were teammates for the Sixers.
While playing for the Sixers, the two became best friends, and the bromance has continued to blossom, despite the fact that they now play on opposite teams.
When talking about Tobias Harris and a tall guy in a commercial, naturally, you’d assume that Tobias was the tall guy in question.

After all, he is a 6ft 7-inch NBA player, making him a very tall dude.
It turns out, though, that the tall guy in the commercial is actually Boban.
Boban makes Tobias look short as he stands at 7ft 4 inches in height.
So, when people ask who is the tall guy in the Goldfish commercial, now you know that the answer is Boban Marjanovic.
What are Goldfish crackers?
The USA is home to some of the tastiest, most famous snacks in the entire world, and Goldfish crackers are most certainly up there with the best.
No, the crackers aren’t actually made from goldfish, but they are shaped like goldfish, and they come in a variety of different flavors.
Made by Pepperidge Farm, which is a division of the Campbells Soup Company, Goldfish crackers come in several flavors, including saltine (original), cheddar, parmesan, whole grain cheddar, Frank’s RedHot, and many more.
The snacks were created back in 1958 by Swiss Oscar J. Kambly.
He wished to create a snack to honor his wife, so he came up with the fish-shaped idea as his wife was a Pisces.
The snacks found their way to the USA in 1962 thanks to the founder of Pepperidge Farm Margaret Rudkin, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Tobi-Bobi – The Ultimate Bromance

The Goldfish crackers commercial that have turned so many heads and gotten so many people talking is simple, yet incredibly entertaining.
The reason why it works so well is due to the fact that Tobias and Boban are such great friends and have such fantastic chemistry together.
The commercial proved to be a really big hit with audiences, even getting a shoutout on NBC Sports.
The commercial sees Tobias, the smaller of the two men, sitting down while noisily tucking into a bag of Goldfish crackers.
When questioned by Boban on why he’s making so much noise, he states that ‘they’re Goldfish’ and that he ‘always goes for the handful,’ and that he has ‘about 73 here.’
The larger Boban then stands up from the couch and snatches the bag of Goldfish crackers from his buddy, and attempts to take a handful of crackers himself.
As he is so large, however, his hand rips through the bag while Tobias looks on with a shocked look on his face.
Boban finishes by saying, ‘I think more than 73’.
The commercial ends with Tobias exclaiming, ‘Bobi, get the vacuum’ to clean up the crackers, which are now scattered all over the floor.

Who is Boban Marjanovic?

Boban Marjanovic is a Serbian NBA player who also competes for the Serbian national basketball team in international contests.
He was born on the 15th of August, 1988, and currently competes in the NBA for the Houston Rockets.
Boban stands at 7ft 4 inches in height, yet his father was not particularly tall and was only 5ft 9 inches tall, which is about average height.
Boban’s mother was also not particularly tall.
His abnormal height is believed to have been caused by an issue with his pituitary gland.
He began playing basketball at a young age, and by the time he was just 14 years of age, he stood at an astonishing 6ft 11 inches in height, and he was still continuing to grow.
He would begin his career in Serbia, playing for the professional team Hemofarm in their youth categories until the 2005/2006 season came to a close.
Because of his unusual size, Boban has also made the transition over to Hollywood and has appeared on the big screen in a number of roles.
His most notable role is probably as ‘Ernest’ in John Wick 3: Parabellum, in which he plays an oversized henchman who meets a particularly gruesome end thanks to Keanu Reeves’ character John Wick, and a library book of all things.
