Who was Asmongold dating before?
Asmongold stays pretty tight-lipped on his love life, but it was a series of streams that led fans to discover who Asmongold’s ex-girlfriend was.
And her name was Izzy—also known online as Pink Sparkles.
Pink Sparkles was a long-time Twitch streamer and gamer, who had built a modest following on the video streaming platform.
She played Fortnite, World of Warcraft, and League of Legends predominantly, but she wasn’t well known for her gameplay or skill.
While she may have caught some negative press for getting grumpy with fans, and was once even considered one of the most hated streamers on Twitch, she began to win over some more fans when Asmongold got her on his radar.
The pair began streaming together, and over time the beautiful young gamer started to see a little more love in her live streams.
There were always critics—many of whom said Pink Sparkles had to be paying Asmongold for all the PR she was getting.
Pink Sparkles and Asmongold both took to social media to set the record straight, though—with the pair confirming their relationship during a live stream event in August of 2018.

She was born on May 2, 1995, in Poland, and raised in California.
She spent a few years as a qualified teacher in Poland, before heading back to the US and turning to Twitch to make money as a League of Legends streamer.
The move wasn’t that lucrative for Izzy G, as she calls herself.
Between her struggle to build a large enough audience on social media and engage with viewers, and her relationship with one of gaming’s biggest icons, fans just weren’t buying it.
Things started looking up for the young social media up-and-comer after she started dating Asmongold.
She gained over a million followers in the year the pair were together.

Why did Asmongold and Pink Sparkles break up?
After making their relationship Instagram official in mid-2018, everything was coming up roses for the loved-up couple.
They streamed together, they made chit-chat videos together, and they scheduled live stream hangouts with viewers and fans.
Then, in December of 2019, Izzy G posted on her Twitter account that she and Asmongold had broken up.
Her Twitter rant—which unfolded over a series of tweets—talked about how Asmongold’s hometown, Austin, Texas, had triggered her depression.
She explained that she fell into a “pretty deep depression for a while.”
She shared that she had been unhappy in the thriving metropolis and unable to live stream on Twitch for months due to her mental health issues.
Her plan, she shared, was to move home to California and “work on” herself.
Asmongold, who was also going through some personal difficulties at the time, kept things confidential.
He shared briefly that he tried to keep his “private life and drama off my stream” and saying, “it sucks, right? That’s the way it goes.”
Pink Sparkles deleted her tweets not long after.

Where is Asmongold’s ex-girlfriend now?
Following Izzy and Zack’s break-up, the popular gamer was caught watching his ex-girlfriend’s live stream.
While it might have been a little awkward for him, his fans found it hilarious—and who can judge Asmongold for supporting his former love’s channel, right?
Pink Sparkles has worked to build up a new following for herself on other platforms, too.
She was banned from Twitch in October of 2021, and while many were confused, there were several theories floating around on the internet.
Some users pointed out that she used Twitch to promote her adult content—something which breaches their community guidelines.
Whatever the case, Izzy had not been active on Twitch for most of 2022.
