In 1997, the duo broke up. In the same year, DJ D-Wrek met Nick Cannon.
It was through his relationship with Nick Cannon that D-Wrek began putting out content for the popular children’s TV network Nickelodeon.
During this period, D-Wrek did a lot of TV work and appeared in many commercials and game shows.
He was also responsible for rapping the theme tune to the hit Nickelodeon animated show, Danny Phantom.

The show, similar to the hit improv sketch show ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?’ revolves around two competing teams who perform impromptu skits and participate in comedic rap battles.
D-Wrek has enjoyed a long tenure on the show; since its inception in 2005, he has appeared in every episode, and is responsible for DJ’ing throughout the entirety of each episode.
He has also DJ’ed for every Wild N’ Out tour and continues to do so at the time of writing.
