Fuerza Regida Net Worth $7 Million

What Is Fuerza Regida’s Net Worth?

Fuerza Regida, the musical quartet, have a combined net worth of $7 million. They topped the charts in their home country of Mexico with gritty urban lyrics and rural Mexican acoustic guitar.

In the United States, more specifically, California, they have pioneered the genre called urban corridor, which adds an East Los Angeles twist to their regional Mexican music.

The group is comprised of Jesus Oritz as the lead singer, Jose Garcia on the tuba, Khrystian Ramos on the six-string guitar, and Samuel Jaimez on the requinto (a smaller guitar, typically tuned a fifth higher than a traditional guitar).

The Origin Story

Khrystian Ramos, Sammy Jaimez, and Jesus Oritz met in 2015 at a local barbershop in San Bernardino, California.

Originally, Jesus Oritz was hired to play bass, but he stepped up to the mic when the original lead singer left the group.

Not long after that, Jose Garcia came on with the addition of the tuba, and the rest is history.

They attribute a large part of their early success to their dedication and hustle.

They sold CDs out of their cars’ trunks around Colton, Riverside, and San Bernardino.

They also regularly played in a circuit of backyard flyer parties, which helped grow their fanbase in an area that is not given much spotlight as the Los Angeles metro area for bands becoming successful.

The big break for Fuerza Regida came with their breakout hit Radicamos en South Central. In the song, the lyrics allude to selling drugs, while romanticizing the daily grind of providing for your family by waking up every morning and going to work.

Within a few months of its debut, the song racked up over a million views.

With strong ties to traditional Mexican music by using the traditional corrido style and street grown lyrics, the hit song by Fuerza Regida resonated with their audience and became the number one cover song for thousands of other corrido bands which perform around Los Angeles.

To get their music out there, Fuerza Regida started a YouTube channel and uploaded their songs before their first album even came out, racking up over a hundred thousand views.

Not long after the success of Radicamos en South Central, Ramon Ruiz, cofounder of Lumbre Music, called and offered them to sign on to his label.

Ruiz is also part of Legado 7, another southern-California based corridos group, and his label is affiliated with the premier record label with a reputation for finding the next best up-and-coming genre, Rancho Humidle.

Fuerza Regida joined the “Smoke Me Out” national tour along with Legado 7 and other corridos bands such as El de La Guitarra and Arsenal Efectivo.

Their debut album, En Vivo Puros Corridos came out in January 2018. Following the album, the band pumped out a myriad of singles, including Radicamos en South Central and Ya Se Fue Manuel that combined, had over one hundred million views on YouTube.

They released the single Sigo Chambeando in collaboration with musicians from Legado 7, along with the video on YouTube. That song alone passed one hundred million views by November of the same year.

They continued producing hit singles through 2019, and delivered an EP with six tracks of love songs called Las Romanticas Favoritas. In the spring of 2020, Adicto was released.

This was their third full-length album and it included features from other popular Latin groups such as Grupo Codiciado, Herencia de Patrones, and Natanael Cano.

They continue putting music on their YouTube channel and creating music that tops the charts in Regional Mexican Albums and have reached number four on Top Latin Albums.
