Manny began his YouTube career in July of 2014.
In April 2017, Gutierrez and Jeffree Star (one of the richest YouTubers) were sued by Black Moon Cosmetics for alleged copyright infringement of their logo.
At the time, Manny and Jeffree were due to launch a collaborative cosmetics line, Jeffree Star Cosmetics x Manny MUA.
”One of Black Moon’s most successful packaging offerings, introduced in June 2015, incorporates a mark consisting of a holographic crescent moon on a black background, with ‘Black Moon’ embossed in holographic types near the crescent moon,” the lawsuit states.

”The issue has been resolved,” they announced on April 6. ”The Jeffree Star Cosmetics x Manny MUA collaboration will launch as planned on April 8th.”
”His logo’s been a moon for years, and my logo’s a star,” Jeffree detailed. He continued: ”We combined them. It was easy — the stars and the moon align.”
