She was born to British parents in Spain. Her father, Robert, is an estate agent.
At age 4, she returned to the UK to live in Bournemouth, England, with her family. However, the family did not last long in the UK – four years after returning, Millie Bobby Brown and her family moved to the USA to live in Florida.
Growing up, ‘MBB’ had a hearing issue that meant that she was born with partial hearing loss in her left ear.
As time went on, though, she began to lose all hearing capacity in that particular ear.
At the age of 12, her acting career would start with her appearance in Stranger Things. The show became a massive hit, and Millie Bobby Brown was one of the major stars of the show.

On the show, she plays the character Eleven and is often regarded as one of the most popular characters on the show. However, she has other TV credits.
For example, from 2013 to 2015, she was involved in smaller roles in TV shows like Once Upon A Time In Wonderland, NCIS, Modern Family, and Grey’s Anatomy.
In all of these shows, she would appear in one or two episodes.
Her previous main role prior to joining Stranger Things was the role of Madison O’Donnell in Intruders. In this show, she took on one of the main roles – back in 2014, before she became a star of the media world with her role in Stranger Things.

Growing up, Millie Bobby Brown was raised a Christian. Her family are devout believers in Christianity, and she was raised following the teachings of the Church Of England. She would attend regular Anglican Church services. Whilst living in Spain, her family would attend church; by the time they returned to the UK, to Bournemouth, attending church became even more prominent.
In the past, Millie Bobby Brown has noted that her Christian upbringing provided her with the foundations for the viewpoints she holds in the world today.
She has, in the past, spoken candidly about the importance of respecting the religious views of others, even if the people involved do not necessarily agree with one another.
