He rose to prominence in 2014 when his family began filming the hit reality TV series.
The Origin Story
Solomon Isaiah Freedom was born on June 10, 1987, in Alaska, US.
He is one of seven siblings to the famous reality TV couple Amora and Billy Brown.
He was the fourth born among six other children, which include Маtthеw Јеrеmіаh, Јоѕhuа Ваm Ваm, Gаbrіеl Ѕtаrbuсk, Noah Darkcloud, Amora Jean Snowbird, and Меrrу Сhrіѕtmаѕ Каthеrіnе Rаіndrор.
Most of his childhood was spent in Chichagof Island, an island in the Alexander Archipelago of the Alaska Panhandle.
As a child, he grew fond of the outdoors and practiced outdoor living.
He was always interested in survival skills which he acquired from his father.
Due to his passion, he obtained the nickname ‘bear,’ which has since stuck.
Alaskan Bush People
In addition to this, he began working as an American reality TV star at age 27 when his parents signed a deal with Discovery TV for Alaskan Bush People.
Despite his family’s secluded life, they had become recognized by a few casting executives of Discovery TV. However, their life did not begin with good fortunes; they had a relatively difficult start.
Brown’s early life was unconventional and fragile before the show aired.
Due to the large family size, his parents found it challenging to secure adequate land and housing.
They were forced to sleep at local shelters, which would also provide them with food and a place for children to do their homework. However, his father was determined, and they eventually found a large enough piece of land to build a snug home.
In addition to finding a place to call home, their family would undergo an extreme transformation following his father’s book’s release.
He published and released, One Wave at a Time in 2007.
In 2009, he published his second book, Teacher of the Old Code, a fiction fantasy.
Although he didn’t hold conventional jobs, he was more on the creative side and used his writing & imaginative skills to support his family.
His books landed in the hands of an executive of Discovery TV. When he finished reading both books, he researched the author (Mr. Brown) and fell intrigued by his way of life.
Accordingly, he reached out to Mr. Brown to secure a reality TV deal for a show that would document the family’s unconventional way of life.
Though the Browns decided to sign a deal for the reality show, it took a while to come to this conclusion. Mr. and Mrs. Brown considered how signing up for the show would go against their values and how they planned to raise their children.
Despite the apparent drawbacks, they moved forward with the deal primarily for the rewards that would transpire, securing their children a better financial future.
The premise behind American Bush People was for the camera crew to document the family as they raised all seven children while utilizing the natural resources of the virgin Alaskan land.
The idea behind the show being a success was due to the fact that the Brown family has gone back in time with respect to how they choose to live. Considering the show’s success, each cast member would enjoy substantial monetary rewards.
The series premiered on May 6, 2014, when Brown was 27.
There was worry about the show’s success, but it turned out to be a massive hit receiving over 5 million viewers per episode in its early days. Accordingly, it was renewed for the unforeseeable future.

“It’s an honor and a privilege to finally call her my wife,” Brown expressed his happiness in an interview.
With respect to his comment about his dad not being in attendance, it was due to an unfortunate event that took place one year earlier.
