Biography
He was born on March 24, 1970, in Orange County, California, USA, as Jeffrey Thomas Lewis.
His parents are Catherine (Averett) Lewis and real estate investor Tom Lewis. His mother passed away in 1988.
In 1988, Jeff graduated from Mater Dei High School.
Flipping Out
In July 2007, Lewis started to host Flipping Out, a reality TV series that ran on Bravo.
In 2009, Lewis started his company, Jeff Lewis Design.
On March 14, 2012, a spinoff of Flipping Out called Interior Therapy with Jeff Lewis debuted on Bravo. It features both Zoila Chavez and Jenni Pulos. The show ended in September 2013.
In 2013, he launched Jeff Lewis Paint.

His reality series, Flipping Out, ended in November 2018, after eleven seasons.

On October 25, 2016, Jeff and Gage welcomed their daughter, Monroe Christine Lewis, via surrogate.
”She is the light of my life,” Jeff said during The Wendy Williams Show in October 2018. ”You have to understand, I am the definition of narcissistic. For 46 years, all I did was think about myself. Now it’s amazing cuz all I do is think about this kid 24/7, and everything is for the kid now.”
Jeff estimated that the costs of having his daughter added up to $250k. ”I had to sell a piece of real estate to pay for this kid,” he said.
Lewis and Edward share custody of their daughter.
The two broke up in late January 2019 after 10 years together. Jeff stayed in the family home while Gage moved into a new apartment.

In February 2019, Gage filed a lawsuit against Jeff, asking for equal shared custody of their daughter and legal support. Edward also requested to change their daughter’s name to Monroe Christine Edward Lewis.
”The reason, in my opinion, he wants 50 percent custody is because he wants maximum child support,” Jeff said during an episode of his show. He added: ”If that is the case, let’s sit down. I’ll be far more generous if we could just sit down and work it out.”
”She’s biologically my child,” Jeff also said of Monroe. ”I just think that complicates things.”
In March 2019, Gage filed another lawsuit against Jeff, which requested a return payment of $125k Gage had loaned Jeff in 2016.
”We’re co-parents, we’re becoming friends, we’re healing, we’re working through the past,” Lewis told People in February 2021. He went on to say: ”I’m hoping for no more anger, no more resentment, no more striking out against each other.”
In March 2019, Lewis started dating Scott Anderson after being set up by Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger.
In September 2020, Jeff announced during his Sirius XM program that they had broken up.
”This is a guy who wants kids and a family and to get married,” Jeff later said. ”I told him that I don’t want to get married. I also told him that I would never have another child with someone else.”
”There was just a real lack of communication with us,” Lewis told Bravo about his relationship with Anderson. ”We speak two different languages.”
In March 2022, Lewis shared he is dating chef Stuart O’Keeffe.
