What is BatDad’s net worth? What does BatDad do for a living?

Introduction

BatDad (real name – Blake Wilson) is a popular American social-media influencer who is best known for creating videos dressed as ”Batman.”

Blake’s videos mostly feature him helping his children with their day-to-day activities like going to school, eating vegetables, and dressing up, while he amuses them, dressed as ”Batman.”

Biography

He was born on December 20, 1983, in Georgia, USA.

Blake initially began making videos on ”Vine” (a short-form video hosting service where users could share 6-second-long looping video clips).

He appeared on the screens of viewers with a mask of Batman on his face and many different and good parenting tips.

After Vine was taken down, he began making videos for his YouTube channel, ”BatDad and Family.”

His YouTube channel was created in September 2013.

I was actually out toy shopping with my wife, and I saw the mask in an aisle, and I picked it up as a joke and bought it, and as soon as we got in the car, I started making Vines with it and called myself BatDad,” Wilson explained the origin of his channel.

He continued: ”After messing with my family for a couple of weeks, things just kind of took off, and here we are almost two years later, and somehow it’s still going on, so it’s been pretty cool.

Being a father, he chooses parenting as the theme for his YouTube videos portraying his adventures with his wife and children.

BatDad also stressed that he doesn’t intend to teach any lesson; he is not giving parenting guides or advice.

He admits that parenting is not easy at all unless you learn how to find the funny side of every problem you face.

One YouTube video shows Wilson driving with his young son in the back seat.

He warns:

”If you don’t chew with your mouth closed, I’m going to take the Nutrigrain bar away.”

Blake told the Today show, unveiling his identity for the first time:

”I’m just a normal dad with four kids and a wife having fun with them. We live a very normal life.”

His videos are hilarious and goofy, and they are relatable to most parents who have had to juggle work, children, and home life.

Also, many videos have been filmed in their family car. However, there are skits shot at home.

In December 2016, Blake posted a video to YouTube, including all of his Vine uploads entitled “BATDAD – EVERY VINE WE EVER MADE MASSIVE COMPILATION.” Also, it could be considered their family’s video album.

Lately (end of 2018 – the start of 2019), he stopped posting videos regularly on his YouTube channel.

He said in a recent interview:

”I always said I would stop when it’s not fun anymore and there have been times in the past couple years where it hasn’t been as fun as it was in the beginning and I’ll take a little break but I seem to keep coming back to it.”

In May 2020, Blake started to upload videos again.

For instance, Blake sneaks up on her in the bathroom, laundry room, and car. He quoted:

”I feel bad for her. I know that I can be annoying.”

Divorce

On March 4, 2019, Blake confirmed on Instagram that he and Jen had separated.

Jen petitioned for divorce in St. Petersburg, Florida, in February 2020.

I would watch his vids and I'd look at his extravagant house in the background. So unnecessary. Maybe if he spent more time cultivating his marriage instead of making vids, he might still be married...who knows...
